Keli Holiday And His Loud Pants!

Thu, 19 Feb 2026

Keli Holiday joined us fresh off his album launch at Rambling Rascal wearing the loudest blue pants we've ever seen and a singlet he bought at the show (because that's the rule), revealing his upcoming Metro Theatre tour on March 6 will have theatre vibes with smoky piano silhouettes instead of just a sweaty rock show. He opened up about fans telling him stories of what the album means to them—including a woman whose husband cried for the first time in 10 years while listening to "Ecstasy"—then absolutely lost Quick Draw for the third time in a row!

Sydney at 6 covered Newcastle renaming itself "Foocastle" with a Hollywood-style sign for the Foo Fighters tour, Sizzler returning to Sydney Airport after six years, and Danika Mason's viral cross from the Winter Olympics where she couldn't move her lips from the cold wind. Callan Boys joined us for Where Are We Eating with the best dining spots, then we hit Glossys: Taylor Swift is the world's biggest artist for the fourth year running, Nicole Kidman's reportedly being pursued by MGM chairman Paul Salem, Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun went on a karaoke date belting ABBA, and Pitbull's attempting a world record for largest bald cap gathering in Hyde Park. Doctors debunked the 8-hour sleep rule saying 6-8 hours is fine but less than 5 or more than 9 is terrible for your health, 67% of Gen Z would choose sleep over sex, and Keli Holiday joined us wearing his loudest pants to chat about fans crying to his album and his iconic dance move before losing Quick Draw again.

"Tony Abbott Saved My Life"

Wed, 18 Feb 2026

We asked Sydney to call in with their "I swear it's true" stories that sound completely made up, and they delivered: a woman whose entire family was saved from a house fire in Balmain by Tony Abbott who ripped the bars off their windows when she was three years old, and another caller who accidentally got into someone else's car and didn't realize until a random kid in the backseat said "hello." Plus, British Airways crew members got absolutely cooked mid-flight after a passenger gifted them cannabis-infused lollies with 300mg of THC—30 times a standard dose.

Callan Boys from the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide joined us for Where Are We Eating with three hot tips: Hampsey Taverna at the new fish markets for charcoal-grilled sardine skewers with stunning city views, Darbant in Auburn for next-level Persian kebabs where the son and daughter have modernised mum and dad's shop while dad still cooks over hot charcoal, and Hats Off Barbecue at Taren Point Car Wash for what might be Sydney's best Philly cheesesteak made with 12-hour beef brisket.

He Went To The Bathroom & Never Came Back

Wed, 18 Feb 2026

We asked Sydney about their worst ghosting stories after playing Ricki's song "Ghost" which she wrote about a best friend who just vanished one day. The stories did not disappoint: a woman's ex-husband texted her while she was at coffee saying "I don't wish to continue this marriage" and by the time she got home he'd taken half their savings and disappeared for years, someone's dry cleaner shut up shop with her engagement party dress inside and was never seen again, and a woman's barista gave her his number for a walking date then literally went to the bathroom and never returned.
