What a story!! Dawn Fleming just keeps going. Her junior high school boyfriend turned husband said he didn't want to be married anymore after she had supported him all the way through medical school. Wow! That was a shocker. But Dawn didn't stop. She went to law school instead. When a few positions didn't work out, she turned to becoming a businesswoman. When her partnerships shocked her in a not-nice way, she just kept going.

Her wonderful second husband had a sailboat, so they took off and sailed through the Panama Canal from California all the way to Florida. They lived there for a while and then ended up buying a beautiful property in Mexico. Why not, right?

She wrote the book, Claim Your Dream Life: How to Retire in Paradise on a Shoestring Budget, to inspire people to live their dream lives. She is living hers, amidst the loss, struggle, trauma and adventures.
